Grace Park is a 100 unit condominium geared for active seniors (independent living). In addition to the apartments, common amenities include a community room with kitchen for use by residents and the greater community, exercise room adjacent to a roof terrace, lease space for vendors that might provide services to seniors and a guest unit. Outdoor functions include a wood deck adjacent to the community room, gardening areas, walking paths and a dog walk. Apartments consist of one, two and three bedroom units from 800 to 1200 s.f. with private balconies. Parking is available in the lower level. The $12 million, 5-1/2 story building is constructed of load-bearing masonry and pre-cast concrete. The project was initiated by the Village of Schiller Park out of concerns that there were not enough living choices for their aging population. MKB teamed with a developer and was selected, from the field, to complete the project.
